The Independent have written a glowing review of Simian Mobile Disco’s ‘Murmurations’ show at the Barbican last week, along with the Deep Throat Choir.
“There are two distinct components: the 27 women of Deep Throat Choir, whose ethereal tones and murmurs weave within one another; and then, standing in front them, there is James Ford and Jas Shaw of Simian Mobile Disco, spinning dark, hypnotic beats. Cancer’s new album Totem has been favourably reviewed by London In Stereo. The Line of Best Fit have also run a track-by-track low down on the album, with the Danish pair divulging details about each one of the eleven tracks on their debut LP. Totem is out on Friday via Tambourhinoceros. Cancer will also be playing at London’s The Waiting Room on 30 January.
